Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Polymation (the "Service"), operated by Paradoxsyn, an individual sole proprietor based in California, USA ("we," "us," or "our"). By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Polymation is a software tool distributed via npm and provided as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI clients programmatically create and edit Rive (.riv) animation files. The Service consists of:
- The Polymation software (downloadable via npm)
- License key validation and device-binding via our hosted API
- Optional support via Discord and email
Polymation is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rive Inc. "Rive" is a trademark of Rive Inc.
2. Subscription and Billing
Access to the Service requires a paid subscription billed at $10.00 USD per month through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
- Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically each month at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Price changes: We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice via email or website notice. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
- Taxes: Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which you are responsible for.
- Payment failures: If a charge fails, we may suspend or terminate your access until payment is resolved.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the customer portal or by emailing paradox@stunning.gg. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
Refunds: All payments are non-refundable except where required by law. We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds on a case-by-case basis (e.g., accidental duplicate purchase, extended outage).
4. License Keys and Device Limit
Each subscription grants you a license key tied to your account. The license key may be activated on up to five (5) unique devices. If you exceed this limit, contact support to deregister an old device.
License keys are personal to you and may not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or transferred. We reserve the right to revoke license keys that we reasonably believe are being shared or abused, without refund.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except to the extent permitted by applicable law
- Resell, rent, lease, or redistribute the Service or your license key
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party rights
- Attempt to circumvent license validation, device binding, or rate limits
- Use the Service to generate unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without prior written permission
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, with or without notice.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, code, designs, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during the term of your active subscription.
Output: The .riv files and other output you create using the Service belong to you. We claim no ownership over your generated content.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party services including Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting), and npm (distribution). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by third-party services.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice with at least 30 days' notice when reasonably possible. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
